About this site: who publishes it and how it is made

Mazatapec Mushrooms is published by the team behind Dutch-Smart, a smartshop in Helmond, the Netherlands. Dutch-Smart sells the Mazatapec grow kits shown on this site, and every product link and order button goes to that shop. When you buy through such a link, we earn from the sale.
We say this first because it matters for how you read the rest. The site exists because most of what is written about Mazatapec online is a short label text repeated from shop to shop: a Mexican origin, a calm character, a ranking, rarely with a source. We wanted one place that covers this one cultivar carefully, including the parts that do not sell kits: that its origin is undocumented, that its strength has never been measured, and that the mushrooms are illegal in most countries, including the Netherlands once they grow.
How the pages are made
- Facts about the species, its chemistry and the law come from scientific publications, legal texts and Dutch public information services such as the Trimbos Institute and the Jellinek. Each source is linked where it is used.
- Statements from product pages, including our own shop's, are presented as the shop's descriptions.
- Anything we could not verify has been left out. Where something is simply not known, such as who first collected Mazatapec, the page says so.
- We do not publish testimonials, reviews or invented experiences.
- We make no medical or health claims of any kind.
- The site is written for adults (18+).
Every page shows the date it was last checked. Laws, products and research change. If something here is out of date or wrong, Dutch-Smart's customer service can pass it on to us.
The shop behind the site

Dutch-Smart is a Dutch smartshop that sells grow kits, magic truffles and herbs, and ships from the Netherlands. It sells to adults only. The lion with the leafy mane is its mascot, here in his summer outfit.
